MURCHISON FALLS: Murchison Falls National Park, known by locals as “Kabalega National Park,” is the most popular and visited park in Uganda. It is located in the northwest of the country on the northern shore of Lake Albert. It is home to elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, antelopes, hippos, and leopards. The park spans 3,893 square kilometers and features the most powerful waterfall in the world.
ZIWA: The Ziwa White Rhino Sanctuary is a conservation and recovery space, and the only place in Uganda where you can see this animal in the wild. It was established in 2005 and plans are underway to begin reintroducing the white rhino into its natural habitat in national parks.
KIBALE: Kibale National Park is a protected area established in 1993, located in the western part of the country near Fort Portal, the capital city of the Toro Kingdom. It is a rainforest that hosts 13 different species of primates, as well as other mammals and 370 bird species. It is particularly popular for chimpanzee tracking, with a population of over 1,500 individuals.
QUEEN ELIZABETH: Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of the most popular in the country, is located in the western region, bordering the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It was founded in 1952 under the name Kazinga and renamed two years later in honor of the Queen of England. It is divided into various sectors and is home to elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and tree-climbing lions. One of its best attractions is the boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, the salt lake area, and the Katwe or Kyambura Gorge Rift Valley. The park is home to over 95 species of mammals and 600 species of birds.
BOSQUE IMPENETRABLE DE BWINDI: Bwindi Forest is located in the southwest of the country and borders Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is one of Uganda’s oldest and most biologically diverse natural areas, dating back over 25,000 years. It is home to more than 120 species of mammals, 350 species of birds, and 200 species of butterflies. It became a tourist attraction in 1993 for being the only place in the world (along with its neighboring countries) where you can see mountain gorillas in the wild.
LAKE MUTANDA: Lake Mutanda is located south of Bwindi Forest and also borders Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It offers spectacular views of the volcanic Virunga Mountains and various activities in nature and with local communities.
LAKE MBURO: Lake Mburo National Park is located in the south of the country and is famous for being the home of zebras in Uganda, among other animals. Twenty percent of the park is covered by the lake and its wetlands, creating spectacular scenery. This park also offers the unique opportunity to go on bike safaris.

ITINERARY
DAY 1: Entebbe – Ziwa – Murchison Falls
Pickup from Entebbe Airport and departure to the Ziwa White Rhino Sanctuary at 6:00 AM.
Visit to the Ziwa White Rhino Sanctuary, where you’ll go on foot in search of rhinos in their natural habitat.
Lunch en route.
Enter Murchison Falls National Park and visit the Top of the Falls.
Arrival at the lodge for dinner.
DAY 2: Murchison Falls
Morning safari in Murchison Falls National Park at 6:30 AM, after breakfast, to spot elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, antelopes, and the elusive leopard.
Boat cruise on the Nile River at 11:00 AM to spot hippos, crocodiles, and many different bird species.
Lunch at 2:30 PM at the lodge, followed by a relaxing afternoon or an evening safari.
DAY 3: Murchison Falls – Kibale
Morning safari in Murchison Falls National Park at 6:30 AM, after breakfast, to spot elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, antelopes, and the elusive leopard.
Departure for Kibale National Park with lunch en route.
Cultural experience with the Tooro people to learn to prepare banana-based drinks, explore the coffee-making process, and dance to traditional rhythms.
Arrival at the lodge for dinner.
DAY 4: Ximpazee Tracking in Kibale
Chimpanzee tracking at 8:00 AM (2–5 hours).
Picnic lunch provided by the lodge.
Departure for Queen Elizabeth National Park.

DAY 5: Queen Elizabeth
Morning safari at 6:30 AM, after breakfast, in Queen Elizabeth National Park to see elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and the elusive lions and leopards.
Visit the salt lake and Katwe area.
Picnic lunch provided by the lodge.
Boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel at 2:00 PM to spot hippos, crocodiles, and many bird species.
Return to the lodge for dinner.
DAY 6: Queen Elizabeth – Bwindi
Departure for Ishasha, a remote area of Queen Elizabeth National Park known for the tree-climbing lions, at 6:30 AM.
Picnic lunch provided by the lodge.
Continue on to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Arrival at the lodge for dinner.
DAY 7: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi
Gorilla tracking at 8:00 AM (1–8 hours).
Return to the lodge for lunch and a relaxing afternoon.
DAY 8: Lake Mutanda
Departure for Lake Mutanda after breakfast.
Day of relaxation and activities at Lake Mutanda (canoe trip, nature walk, etc.).
DAY 9: Lake Mutanda – Lake Mburo
Departure for Lake Mburo National Park.
Arrival at the lodge for lunch.
Afternoon safari by bicycle or on foot to spot zebras and giraffes.
Return to the lodge for dinner.
DAY 10: Lake Mburo – Entebbe
Morning safari in Lake Mburo National Park to spot zebras and giraffes.
Departure for Entebbe with lunch at the equator line.
Arrival in Entebbe for dinner and transfer to the airport.
