DAY BY DAY
Arrival in Zanzibar and transfer to the accommodation in Stone Town, where the immersion into the island’s historical atmosphere begins. After settling in, we will enjoy lunch at a restaurant before heading into the city for a guided tour of approximately two or three hours, exploring its alleyways, markets and corners full of history. As the afternoon falls, the day culminates with a Swahili dinner on the rooftop of the accommodation, accompanied by traditional Taarab music and views over the city (included).
Today, after breakfast, we will be able to choose between different activities to discover the most natural side of Zanzibar. The most complete option is Safari Blue, a full-day excursion through the spectacular Menai Bay aboard a traditional boat, combining snorkeling, sandbanks, mangroves and a seafood lunch in a unique setting (included). Alternatively, Nakupenda Island offers a more relaxed experience on a sandbank in the middle of the ocean, ideal for enjoying the scenery, swimming in turquoise waters and tasting tropical fruits on the sand. There is also the option of visiting Prison Island by private boat, where it is possible to discover the historical facilities and the giant tortoise sanctuary. In the afternoon, we will return to Stone Town to enjoy a sunset walk through Forodhani, by the sea, before having dinner at an oceanfront restaurant or at the accommodation.
After breakfast, we will leave Stone Town behind and head towards the northeast coast of Zanzibar, one of the island’s most peaceful and elegant areas. The surroundings invite us to slow down and enjoy the ocean in its most serene state. After lunch at the accommodation, the afternoon will be free to relax on the beach or at the hotel before enjoying dinner (included).
Today, we will experience one of the most special moments of the journey with a snorkeling excursion in Mnemba Atoll. This protected atoll, located off the northeast coast, offers exceptionally clear waters and abundant marine life. Throughout the morning, we will enjoy several snorkeling sessions at different points of the reef, where we may observe tropical fish, corals and, with luck, dolphins in their natural habitat. The activity is carried out in small groups and with professional guides, ensuring a personalized and environmentally respectful experience. After the excursion, we will return to the accommodation to enjoy a relaxing afternoon by the sea. The day ends with dinner at the hotel in an exclusive and relaxed atmosphere (included).
After breakfast, we will continue the route towards the southeast coast of Zanzibar, where the beaches of Paje and Jambiani await us, known for their relaxed atmosphere, open landscapes and connection with local life. We will arrive at the accommodation, where we will have time to enjoy lunch before dedicating the afternoon to relaxing by the sea or at the hotel. (Dinner included).
Today, after breakfast, we will visit Maalum Cave, a natural cave hidden in the jungle where it is possible to swim in a crystal-clear pool surrounded by limestone rock. In addition, we will complement the experience with a massage, turning it into a moment of complete relaxation. After the activity, we will return to enjoy a free afternoon to continue exploring the beach or simply relax. Dinner will be served at the accommodation (included).
On the last day in Zanzibar, we will enjoy a completely free day to experience the island at our own pace. It will be the perfect moment to relax on the beach or at the accommodation, enjoy one last swim in the Indian Ocean or take part in optional activities such as snorkelling, paddleboarding through mangroves, a kitesurfing lesson or a yoga session facing the sea. After lunch at a local restaurant or at the accommodation, we will have the afternoon free to rest, enjoy the surroundings and calmly prepare our luggage before saying goodbye to the island. The day will end with a final dinner at the accommodation (included) and the subsequent transfer to the airport that same evening or early the following morning, depending on the flight schedule.
